Heute ist die "Stanley Kubrick Collection" Blu-Ray Box angekommen - damit dürfte ich die nächsten Tage ganz gut beschäftigt sein. :)

Die Sammlung gibt´s zur Zeit wirklich günstig bei Amazon und beinhaltet folgende Filme: Lolita, 2001: Odyssee im Weltraum, Clockwork Orange, Barry Lyndon, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket und Eyes Wide Shut. Lolita und Barry Lyndon erscheinen damit übrigens erstmals auf Blu-ray.

Neben einem Booklet mit Informationen und Bildern zu allen enthaltenen Filmen enthält die Box ausserdem eine Bonus-Disc mit den Dokumentationen "Stanley Kubrick: A life in pictures" und "Oh Du glücklicher Malcolm".



Für eine wirklich perfekte Kollektion muss man sich als Sammler "Dr. Seltsam oder wie ich lernte, die Bombe zu lieben" und "Spartacus" natürlich noch zusätzlich besorgen, da diese beiden Titel nicht bei Warner erschienen sind.

Da hat sich jemand die Mühe gemacht und alle Itchy & Scratchy Folgen aus den Simpsons zu einem 48-minütigen Supercut zusammengeschnitten. Viel Spaß!

Nach den zahlreichen Schnippseln, Postern und Teaser-Trailern hier nun also der erste offizielle Trailer für das Alien Prequel Prometheus.
Ich freu´ mich jedenfalls wie Bolle darauf:
