Schön minimalistische Chrome Tab Erweiterung, welche auf dem "New Tab" Bildschirm statt Apps oder den meistbesuchten Websites die aktuelle Uhrzeit und das Wetter anzeigt. Das sieht dann beispielsweise so aus:

Currently is a simple extension that replaces your "New Tab" screen with a new one that shows you the current time and the weather.

This simple idea is expressed with a minimal design aesthetic that focuses entirely on the content.

Düstere Zukunftsvision zum Thema Augmented Reality und Social Media von Eran May-raz und Daniel Lazo, entstanden als Abschlussarbeit für die Bezaleal Academy of Arts. Erinnert mich persönlich ziemlich stark an die geniale, dreiteilige Mini Tv-Serie "Black Mirror".



Wobei "Zukunft" in Zeiten von Project Glass, berührbaren Hologrammen und Augmented Reality Kontaktlinsen wohl nur wenige Wochen bis Monate heisst.

Wie schon nicorola sagt: Wer mit dem Sound von WU LYF (World Unite! Lucifer Youth Foundation) etwas anfangen kann, sollte hier auch auf jeden Fall mal reinhören. Ich bin nach der ersten EP von Holy Esque auf jeden Fall schon gespannt auf´s (hoffentlich bald erscheinende) Debut-Album:

Simpel, minimalistisch, toll. Die iOS App Chameleon Clock für´s iPhone oder iPad benutzt die Kamera um eine Uhr anzuzeigen, welche sich der Umgebung anpasst - optimal also zum Protzen oder als Screensaver. Gibt´s für $0.99 bei iTunes - fehlt eigentlich nur noch die Android Version davon.

Kaum ist der Sommer auch bei uns angekommen, legt sich Snoop Dogg das Pseudonym Snoop Lion zu, macht einen auf Roots-Reggae, und released mit "La La La" (produziert von Diplo und Major Lazer) schon mal einen Vorgeschmack auf das kommende Album "Reincarnated":

Sasha Vinogradova, ein Designer aus Moskau, hat sich die Arbeit gemacht und diese HD-Wallpapers (1920х1080) mit Wappen und Mottos aller größeren Häuser der Erfolgsserie Game of Thrones gebastelt. Mit dabei sind die Häuser Stark, Targaryen, Baratheon, Lannisters, Greyjoy, Tyrell, Martell und Tully.

A street map made up of over 900 film titles including cinema classics such as Lost Highway, On the Waterfront, Jurassic Park, Reservoir Dogs, Carlito's Way, Nightmare on Elm Street, Valley of the Dolls and Chinatown.

The Map, which is loosely based on the style of a vintage Los Angeles street map has its own Hollywood Boulevard and includes districts dedicated to Hitchcock and Cult British Horror movies. Like most cities it also has its own Red Light area. There's an A-Z key at the base of the Map listing all the films featured with their release dates and names of the directors.
